Antidepressants.

Antidepressants are such a depressant that they take away your will to live.

We visit the doctor for the very first time, and he tells us that antidepressants will bring us no harm.

But they don’t tell you what you will learn later when you want to come off, and they ask you to taper.

They don’t tell you that you will get fat and you will put on weight; you learn this later when it’s too late.

They don’t tell you that your sex life will fall through the bedroom floor, the kitchen table being a distant memory of what you did before.

Antidepressants are a terrible thing; there are too many side effects that make your ears ring.

The doctor will tell you they will help you sleep, which they do, but please ask the doctor how it’s affecting you.

They play with your mind, delivering serotonin as food, but don’t get hooked up because they’re controlling your mood.

You can get prescribed for backache, toothache and headaches, too; please don’t allow the doctor to give them to you.
